Mom’s Peach Cobbler

1 c. sugar
1 c. flour
1 c. milk
3 Tbs. baking powder
Pinch salt
¼ lb. butter or margarine
1 lg. can peaches (slice if halves)
Mix sugar, flour, milk, baking powder, & salt together. Melt butter in baking dish, 9X9. Pour mixture over butter. Pour in peaches. Sprinkle with sugar and cinnamon or nutmeg, bake at 375 degrees for 1 hour. |
